Bookase is a Books Price Comparision site popular with students. It provides comparative information of prices from over 30 online book stores and facilitates direct buying of books. It also allows users to find highest buyer to sell their books.


Goal


Develop a full featured dynamic website for online books price comparision through Amazon REST API integration.


Result


The website uses various API formats such as txt, xml and http request from over 30 stores and aggregrates the resulting data into meaningful search results. Users can search for their books by their titles, keywords and ISBN numbers. Users can add the books to their compare cart, request email alert for their choice of books. If the user chooses to buy any book, he is guided to online bookstore of selected store for instant buying and can avail discounts. Buyback section fetches highest payer for used books.
